Rowdy Bunch Collections

Since I started being a Graves' Disease Support Leader for the Graves' Disease Foundation in 2008 I have been trying to find ways to support our Support group.  We have sold calenders, t-Shirts, post cards and now Mr. Graves'  Chili Dolls.  I started the Graves' Disease Support Group and since have moved to another city in Colorado.  I continue to work with my support groups.  There are now four.  We keep in touch by emails, social networking, snail mail and phone.  It takes time and money many of us don't have.  So we raise our own.  Three of us pay our own expense's to travel to other cities to speak at small GD Coffee Breaks.  Right now we are NOT a non-profit organization so we do not ask for donations.  One day we hope to have our own non-profit GD Coffee Break Organization. to help patients and family better live with their thyroid disease.  Our goal is to make life easier by sharing our own experience, to bring awareness to the public, to remind people to smile and take a break from their Thyroid Disease.  The disease is depressing enough, we need to get back to the lighter side of life.

UPDATE:   I have a new fun website.  You must come and visit.  A place to relax and enjoy a "Coffee Break"  for people with a Thyroid condition , friends and family.     http://gdcoffeebreak.weebly.com
